Steelers Offense Continues to Dominate

With the return of Le'veon Bell, the Steelers offense continues to dominate in the AFC. The Steelers are ranked 2nd in the passing game, trailing behind the Atlanta Falcons. The offense continues to put up numbers averaging 27 points per game, 284 passing yards, and 102 ground.

Quarterback:

Ben Roethlisberger continues to show that he is a top quarterback in the NFL. Ben ranks 3rd in the NFL in passing yards, with 15 touchdowns, only 4 interceptions and 1,496 passing yards. Ben continues to feed his explosive offensive weapons ranging from Antonio Brown, to Le'veon Bell, Sammie Coates, D'angelo Williams and a list of others.

Ben, who already has 2 Superbowl rings looks to add another for the 2016 season. If the offense can remain healthy and continue to play at a high level, this offense will be unstoppable.

Run Game:

Le'veon Bell, who returned in week 4 of the season shows that he is still the top running back in the NFL. The Steelers back field is stacked with Bell, and veteran D'angelo Williams who carried the load while Bell was out due to suspension. These dangerous backs draw a lot of attention to linebackers which open up the passing game downfield.

We can expect the Steelers to stick with the run game with the talented back field. Sometimes you may see D'angelo Williams, and Bell on the field at the same time to confuse defenses. Bell is also a great receiver who can exploit a linebacker in coverage. D'angelo Williams also led the NFL in week 1 in rushing.

The one two punch of Bell and Williams gives Ben a chance to play action and get the ball down field to his weapons.

Passing Game:

We all heard of this guy named Antonio Brown. The best wide receiver in the game that can take a slant to the house, or return a punt for a touchdown. Brown continues to have impressive games as he looks to dominate defenses across the NFL.

Brown is lined up anywhere on the field. The connection between Ben and Brown is the best dual in the NFL. So far this season Brown has 37 receptions for 447 yards, and 5 touchdowns.

With the absence of Martavis Bryant, Sammie Coates, and Markus Wheaton carry the load on the receiving game. Coates, who had a monster game against the New York Jets, caught 6 passes for 139 yards and 2 touchdowns. Wheaton, along with Eli Rodgers, and Darrius Heyward Bey seek to help in the receiving game and keeping the flame to this offense going.

Tight ends:

With the retirement of long time Steeler, Heath Miller, back up tight end Jessie James, and new comer Xavier Grimble (San Diego Chargers) look to fill in. James, and Grimble are athletic tight ends who are effective in the run game and can also catch passes across the middle. When a tight end catches a pass, you can still hear Steeler Nation yell "HEATHHHHHHH" in the respectful honor of Heath Miller.

Offensive Line:

Returning from multiple injuries in the past, Maurkice Pouncey is healthy and back making an impact on the offensive line. At left tackle Alejandro Villanueva, left guard Ramon Foster, center Maurkice Pouncey, right guard David DeCastro and right tackle Marcus Gilbert.

The line continues to make big holes for Bell and Williams in the back field. Creating a pocket for Ben to be able to throw down the field and hit his receivers. The Steelers take on the Miami Dolphins next week and look to continue to run up the scoreboard.
