10 NBA Players We'd Love To See in NFL Uniform

10. Eric Bledsoe- Phoenix Suns

Size- 6 foot 1, 194 lbs

NFL Position - Corner back , punt return

Starting the list off at #10 is Eric Bledsoe. The point guard out of Phoneix is explosive, and has the physical attributes to play the corner back position. Bledsoe shows a lot of quickness and acceleration on the basketball court, thus adding him in at the punt return position as well.

It is rare that a 6 foot 1 point can dunk on a NBA basketball hoop, but Bledsoe is one of many that can take flight in a game.

9. DeMarcus Cousins- Sacramento Kings

Size- 6 foot 11, 270 lbs

NFL Position - Stand up outside linebacker

DeMarcus reins in at #9 on the list. Cousins is one of the most physical big men in the NBA. This guy lives in the paint, and this season he is even pulling threes from deep.

No one can question Cousins toughness and love for the game of basketball.

We can imagine Cousins playing the outside linebacker position. He has the size and physical attributes to make tackles and at 6 foot 11 his long arms would be an advantage on the defensive side of the ball.

8. Meta World Peace- Los Angeles Lakers

Size- 6 foot 7, 260 lbs

NFL Position - Outside linebacker, kick off/return team

Before Meta World Peace, there was Ron Artest. We all remember the mass brawl that went down in 2004 in Detroit. The gigantic fight between the Detroit Pistons, and the Indiana Pacers. In the middle of all the scuffle, Ron Artest, who fought players on the court, and fans off the court.

Ron Artest makes this list because of his aggression and he has no fear against any player.

Can we picture Ron Artest on an NFL football team? Mmmmm maybe, maybe not, but the idea of it would be cool.

7. Kenneth Faried- Denver Nuggets

Size- 6 foot 8, 227 lbs

NFL Position - Defensive end, Tight end

Kenneth Faried is an absolute athlete that can jump out the gym. With strength, speed, and jumping ability, Faried enters the list at #7.

He may be capable of playing at the defensive end position, with his size and speed. He has the ability to run sideline to sideline to make tackles against speedy running backs. Faried would also have the ability to play at the tight end position. At 6 foot 8, Faried would be a great target to hit for a deep pass with his ability to go up for a jump ball.

6. Dwight Howard- Atlanta Hawks

Size- 6 foot 11, 265 lbs

NFL Position - Middle linebacker, blocking tight end

At #6 on the list, Dwight Howard. Although I personally dislike Dwight Howard because he is a cupcake. He is still one of the biggest, and most physical centers in the NBA. Howard has great size, great jumping ability, massive size and strength.

Dwight is listed at middle line backer because of his size and strength. He does not look like he would have much speed, thus putting him at the middle of the defense to meet running backs in the whole and make the tackle.

5. Kwaid Leonard- San Antonio Spurs

Size- 6 foot 7, 230 lbs

NFL Position - Wide receiver, Safety

Coming in at #5, Kwaid Leonard, one of the top athletes in the NBA right now. He is the defensive anchor for the San Antonio Spurs. Leonard has good size, speed, and he is physical enough to be able to run routes at the wide receiver position.

Another reason why he could play wide receiver?

HIS HANDS. Leonard, also known as "The Claw" has massive hands. He potentially could make one handed Oddell Beckham catches all day on a corner back with those hands. The photo below is a hand size comparison with 7 foot 1, 337 lbs Shaquille O'Neal!

Leonard is so defense minded that he could also play safety. I can imagine this guy plucking footballs out of the air and rocking wide receivers that come across the middle, thus listing him at the wide receiver and the safety position.

4. John Wall- Washington Wizards

Size- 6 foot 4, 194lbs

NFL Position - Wide receiver, kick returner, wild cat

In at #4, John Wall, the fastest player in the NBA. His number one attribute is his speed, John Wall would leave anyone in the dust on a fast break . Listing him at the wide receiver position.

His speed would also allow him to make some plays on kick returns, possibly even punt returns. John Wall is very shifty on the court and I think that he would be a factor in the wild cat. Whether at quarterback, running back, or wing back, give John Wall the ball is see him get ghost on a defense.

3. Jimmy Butler- Chicago Bulls

Size- 6 foot 7, 220 lbs

NFL Position - Wide receiver

Jimmy Butler makes the list at #3. Butler is confident in himself that he could actually play wide receiver in the NFL. He even challenged the best wide receiver in the NFL, Antonio Brown, that he was a better receiver than him.

Butler is also one of the top athletes in the league. A typical 6 foot 7 shooter, great defender, and high flyer would be able to go up for passes and snatch them out of thin air. I actually stood next to Jimmy Butler on the sidelines at a Steelers game....I never felt so small in my life.

2. Russell Westbrook- Oklahoma City Thunder

Size- 6 foot 3, 187lbs

NFL Position - Running back, slot receiver, corner back, punt returner

Weighing in #2 on the list, Russell Westbrook. In my opinion, Westbrook is the most physical athlete in the NBA today. No one slams dunks and plays with the same intensity at Russell Westbrook. This man is determined to get to the rim, and he is determined to win!

Even at the point gaurd position, Westbrook plays as if he is the biggest player on the court. This outstanding athlete is capable of playing running back, slot receiver, corner back, and punt returner. Westbrook would run like a animal in the wild, breaking tackles, and hurdling defenders in his way.

Westbrook is the 2nd fastest player in the NBA behind John Wall. If you never seen a highlight film of Russell Westbrook, you need to go and watch it right now! Russell, and the next candidate are the only players on this list that I think can actually play in both professions of basketball and football.

1. Guess Who? LeBron James- Cleveland Cavaliers Size- 6 foot 8 250lbs

NFL Position - Wide receiver, tight end

With no surprise, the Cleveland Cavalier Lebron James comes in at #1. Lebron has been the top athlete in the NBA for some time now. There is nothing that LeBron can't do. He can dunk, guard point guards, block centers, and shoot the three ball.

Lebron actually played football in high school and he could have went to college to play football or basketball. What did he do? Enter the NBA at the age of 20, and has been the top NBA player ever since.

Lebron is capable of playing tight end, or even wide receiver. The 6 foot 8 basketball player was built to play sports. You can see some of Lebron's football action on YouTube, and you can imagine what he would be capable of in the NFL.
