Drake's "Views" Makes History
It comes to no surprise that the rapper/singer from Toronto continues to make history in the hip-hop industry. Drake has released his new album "Views" which sold ONE MILLION copies in only a week. The Canadian continues to shake up the hip-hop industry.
Drake is arguably the face of hip-hop today. His album was even streamed through a number of companies that gave him some extra marketing schemes from Apple to Snapchat.
I mean, it was nearly impossible not hear about the release of Drake's album. The buzz was just as popular as the last day of Kobe Bryant's last game as a Los Angeles Laker.
Drake, who has had several successful albums in the past such as "Nothing Was The Same" "Take Care" and "Thank Me Later" continues to show why he can brag about his success and the come up from nothing to top of the charts.
Myself, I am a huge fan of Drake who creates music that is simply genius. Songs that will have you reminiscing about your ex, dancing in the club, and most importantly songs you can relate too.
The rapper has come a long way from Toronto who now officially sits at the top of the rap game. Drake's "Views" album has surpassed album sales of Beyonce, just in time to heat up the summer. If you have not heard Drake's past albums you should give it a listen and see for yourself.
