What The NBA Fears The Most, Has Happened

With Kevin Durant joining Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, the Golden State Warriors have become the most feared team in the NBA. Kevin Durant won MVP in the 2014 season, joining Curry who won back to back MVP awards in the 2015 & 2016 season. We can expect the Warriors to dominate the West, as the top three shooters in the NBA are all on ONE TEAM.

This seems too insane to be real! This has been the biggest news in the NBA since Lebron James left the Cleveland Cavaliers to join the Miami Heat. The 73-9 Golden State Warriors defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in this year's playoffs, leaving Kevin Durant with a decision to make as his contract was up for the upcoming 2017 season. Durant shopped with multiple teams this free agency and we assumed that KD would resign with the Thunder,

we were wrong....

Durant signs a two year option deal with the Golden State Warriors worth $54 million

NBA Player reactions from around the league

My Predictions

1. The Golden State Warriors will run the West, IF the Warriors can remain healthy, continue to play with team chemistry, and also sign a solid rebounder as both centers Bogut and Ezili were traded from the Warriors to create cap space for Durant. Two MVP's on one NBA team has the whole social media world shook up.

2. The forming of this NBA Superstar team will trigger multiple teams to follow in this same direction. With long time superstars aging such as Dwayne Wade, Vince Carter, Carmelo Anthony, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Kevin Garnett and so on, these guys are playing closer to their retirement days. Therefore, players will be getting recruited hard in free agency to join other great teams to win that last championship before retiring.

Example: Phil Jackson and the New York Knicks are slowly rebuilding to compete in the East. This free agency the Knicks have added Derrick Rose, Brandon Jennings, Jakim Noah, and Courtney Lee to help Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis compete for a playoff spot.

3. Russell Westbrook will win MVP in the 2017 season. With the departure of Kevin Durant, Westbrook will continue to take over OKC by recording triple double after triple double as he did in the 2015 season. Westbrook was very close to winning MVP in the 2014 season, but rather it was rewarded to Stephen Curry.

4. The Golden State Warriors ratings on NBA 2K17 will ranked 1st and overall 99! The Warriors ratings on 2k16 were already boosted due to the Warriors defeating the Cavaliers in the 2015 NBA Finals. With the addition of Kevin Durant, we can say that anyone using this team on 2k17 is completely absurd.
