USA Men's Basketball Headed to Gold Medal Game
USA! USA! USA! USA!
With the recent victory over Spain, the USA Men's basketball team are headed to the Gold Medal Game to take on Serbia, August 21, 2016. The high powered offense that is full of offensive players who can dominate at any time, continue to impress and continue their winning streak of 24 games.
This year's lineup consist of some of the NBA's top scorers in the league. Even though this year's team is without Finals MVP Lebron James, and 2 time MVP Stephen Curry, this team is still highly skilled at the professional level. Kevin Durant leads the USA team in scoring averaging with 28pts per game. 2nd in scoring is Carmelo Anthony with 24pts, and 3rd is Kyrie Irving averaging 22pts a game. If this team can continue to play with team chemistry, there is no doubt that they can continue the winning streak and win the gold medal against Serbia for the 2016 Olympics.
